Summer Art Camp Week 2 @ The Schepis

The Schepis Museum is proud to announce two summer art camps for youth grades 3-10: June 24-27th and July 22-26th. Each day will be a new experience designed to expose the youth in our community to a diversity of art! Camp will start at 12:30pm and end at 4pm each day. There is a small supply fee for $25 per child per week. Each camp week must be enrolled separately. A simple snack and juice box will be provided mid-afternoon. Note: paint is involved, children should wear smocks or old clothes! To enroll –complete a enrollment form and drop off with art fee at the Schepis Museum. Registration starts May 22nd at the Schepis forms will be accepted first come first serve on May 22nd.

July Camp:
July 22nd – Textiles! Design and assemble a backpack bag! We will use a variety of materials to sketch, paint and assemble this useful bag! Bags can be kept or donated to kids in need for the next school year! We will also design and paint a banner for the July 4th Celebration in Columbia.
July 23rd – Build a Bear! Using templates, we will design and build a teddy bear. Bears can be kept or donated to the children’s home. We will also finish our banner for the July 4th Celebration in Columbia.
July 24th and 25th – Participants will help us create a book! We will write and illustrate a book together! Each participant will take home their creation to share!
