Tongue Twister is a tongue twisting farce written by Cynthia Davies and Steven Fendrich.  The play centers around the main characters Moses Roses, a teacher,  and Sally Seashell, headmaster at Bitter Batter School as they try to capture the tongue twisting trophy for Bitter Batter School while putting aside past grievances from losing the tournament over 30 years ago as students.  They will have to compete against Hazel Hazelnutt and the up and coming competition from Nettie’s Knitting Night School for the Tongue Twister Trophy and accolades that come with it.   This show is full of twist and turns and will have you laughing throughout.

Tongue Twisted is a Youth Theatre production of  The Rose Theatre of Bastrop, Louisiana.  It is directed by Kathy Vollmar, Tina Wolfe, and Emily Boles.   Showtimes will be Friday March 13th and Saturday 14th at 7:00 p.m.  A Sunday matinee will be 2:00 p.m. on March 15th.

Tickets are $10 dollars for everyone 13 and older and $5 dollars for those 12 and younger.  Tickets can be reserved ahead of time by calling Susan at Arnett’s Jewelry  283-2902 or by calling Charles at 283-3101.
