CA Studio: Lettice and Lovage
Lettice Douffet is never a MERE tourguide for Britain's Preservation Trust. Creative embellishments of history leave her audiences spellbound and her boss, Lotte Schoen, furious. After Lettice is fired, Lotte and Lettice develop an extremely unlikely friendship that results in historical reenactments, head bashing and other hilarity. Developed by Sir Peter Shaffer, famous author of Equus, as a comic vehicle for the inmitable Dame Maggie Smith, Lettice and Lovage is an award-winning tale of what could happen when theatre takes over real life. Lettice and Lovage from CA Studio stars Susan Curry as Lettice, Eileen Kontrovitz as Lotte, with appearances by Chris Mouk and Josh Swan. Lettice and Lovage is directed by Cathy Airhart Webb.
