Art on the Walls is a community-powered exhibition program that connects Northeast Louisiana businesses with local artists for a rotating gallery-style experience. Participating businesses offer their wall space to showcase and sell work by local creatives—at no cost to the artist and with zero commission. The Arts Council curates connections using the Culturalyst directory, hosts a business application portal, and promotes participating venues and artists through our digital platforms. This program turns lobbies, cafés, waiting rooms, and office walls into vibrant cultural spaces—supporting the creative economy and bringing art into the places we live, work, and gather.
How it works...
- Businesses apply to participate, agreeing to insure and display artwork without charging artists a fee or commission.
- Artists provide ready-to-hang pieces and handle their own sales.
- The Arts Council facilitates the match using Culturalyst and promotes participating locations.
